My name is Selina Hoffman. My husband, Dana, is going to be a third year student, and we have a baby boy, Mark, and a silly little dog, Kiri.

Before we moved down to Southern Utah, we lived in Clearfield Utah, and I worked as a 9th grade science teacher. I was really sad to leave my students, but excited to go on this medical school journey with my husband.

I was on the previous MSP Presidency as the secretary, and loved it so much I signed on for another year as President. I’m so excited for this year’s presidency, and so grateful to be a part of MSP!

Vice President

Hi! My name is Chelsea Richards and I am so excited to be the assistant to the president this year, AKA, vice president. I grew up in a small town in Northern Wyoming (close to Yellowstone!) and I lived there until I graduated high school. I attended BYU after high school, where I majored in special education. After graduating, I served a mission in the Washington DC South Mission where I met an Elder Richards :). A year after he got home from his mission, we were married in Bountiful, Utah. He then attended Utah Valley University while I taught school in Mapleton for three years. We had our little girl Zoey during my third year of teaching and I decided to take a break from teaching at the end of that year. Fast forward two years, my husband graduated from UVU, worked during his gap year and we had a little boy named Wesley. We moved to Ivins, Utah in April of 2020 to begin our medical school journey!

Sierra Gubler

Hi everyone! My name is Sierra Gubler! My husband is a 1st year. I am originally from Hurricane but now live in Washington so we were fortunate enough to stay close! I am a full time stay at home mom to the cutest 1 year old. He is such a happy boy and has such a fun personality! I love food, shopping, outdoors, trying new things and anything active. So excited to be on this adventure!

Hi friends!! My name is Mersadie Gray. I’m just your average STG gal . My husband is in the class of 2024 and we are so happy to be back HOME for school! We have been married 5 years and have one little girl, Hazel. She’s a little busy body almost 2 year old with a lot of sass! I spend most of my day chasing Hazel around. But when I have free time you’d find me cooking, taking a bubble bath, planning a girls night/party, or chatting/eating with friends.

I can’t wait to plan our MSP activities! This year will be so fun!

Hi! I'm DeBryn Light, wife to student doc Tim Light. We started year two in July 2021 and we have LOVED our time in St. George! I'm from Utah, he is from Montana, and we met as missionaries in Korea. We have a deep love for culture, language, good food, and traveling. We did our undergrad at Utah State University and I majored in Global Communication and minored in Art. I worked for two years leading a graphic design team while my husband finished school and then we moved here! We are both extroverts and we love being outdoors, playing volleyball, tennis, pickleball, ping pong, and I'm learning to love soccer. I look forward to getting to know more of the RVU family!
