Meet The 2024-2025 Presidency
Riley Downs
PRESIDENT
Riley Downs is beyond excited to represent the school as president this year. She cares deeply about the program and hopes to continue to make MSP your second family. She moved to St. George from her hometown Price, Utah where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Utah State University Eastern. She married Spencer in 2019 and has two beautiful daughters. Alaina (2.5) and Bria (5months).
Rielly Matheson
VICE PRESIDENT
Rielly has been married to her husband Russell for 4.5 years. They have 2 kids: one girl (Josie age 3) and one boy (Milo age 1). Currently Rielly stays home with her kids, but she also graduated from Cosmetology school in 2020 and is working on finishing her bachelors degree in Communicative Disorders from Utah State University. Rielly loves to read and her favorite series is “Throne of Glass” by Sarah J Maas. She also survives on Dr Pepper and Peanut butter M&M’s.
Camille Jordan
SECRETARY
Camille's husband Chad graduated from the MSBS program at RVU and will start his first year in July, 2024. They met at BYU-Idaho in 2018 and have been married for 5 years. She is from Friendswood, Texas and will graduate with her MBA in Healthcare Management in October this year. She loves to eat, read, play volleyball & pickleball, hike, play board games, play Hogwarts Legacy, bake, craft, and listen/dance/sing to Taylor Swift. The best part of her life are her 2 sweet daughters, Lyla (almost 3) and Arlie (1). She has been so thankful for MSP and the friends she has made in sub-groups this year!
Elizabeth Poulsen
ACTIVITIES CHAIR
Elizabeth loves to plan activities that bring people together. Growing up in a family of 9 kids, being surrounded by people is when she is happiest! She met her husband at Utah State and has been married for 2 years. They drive North a lot of be with family and to go boating in the summers. Elizabeth does website design and digital marketing for her family’s jewelry store but will soon start a masters program to become a therapist. Her goal this year is to know everyone so that everyone can know at least someone they can count on at activities!
Morgan Nethercott
TREASURER
Morgan Nethercott, and her husband Kai will be in their second year this year. They met at USU (go Aggies) and have been married since 2020. She has a bachelors and masters degree in accounting and recently became a CPA. She currently works remotely full time at Tanner LLC as an auditor. She loves board games, movies, yoga and brownies. She's currently learning how to play the piano and has a couple songs down. She has loved MSP because she has been able to have a social support system through the crazy journey that is med school!
Allison Abraham
Content Creator
Allison has been married for 6 years to Chris, and they have the cutest mini golden-doodle named Jack! They will be starting their 2nd year at RVU. She's originally from Boise, Idaho and has always dreamed of living in Southern Utah. She works remotely full time as a property management accountant out of Boise. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, baking, playing games, and reading. She loves to travel and explore. She can’t wait to get to know you all!
Tessa Edwards
Communications Coordinator
Tessa loves MSP and is so excited to meet you all this year! She is married to the love of her life Bryson who is in his second year at RVU. She has 2 crazy boys Camden 2yrs and Heath 6m old. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2018 but her favorite job is being a mom. Tessa loves dance and did ballet and contemporary at BYU-Provo and also loves mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, a good chick-flick, and anything outdoors.
